Port Aransas Museum

Located in a turn-of-the-20th-century kit house, local residents rallied to save the house, move it to its current location and turn it into a museum showcasing local history and early island lifestyles. Open Thu.–Sat. 1-5 p.m. Free admission. 361/749-3800. www.portaransasmuseum.org.
