Established in 1854, the city was named for a large round rock in the bed of
Brushy Creek. Today, Round Rock is one of the fastest-growing cities in the
nation. Several historic buildings here are listed on the National Historic
Register. Old Settlers Park offers more than 480 acres for events and festivals.
Annual events include Daffodil Days Festival and Three-Legged Willie 13K in
March, Fiesta Amistad in May, Frontier Days in July and the Texas Outlaw 100
Cycling Tour in October.
Home to wide variety of boutiques, retail shops and many dining
stops.
