Named for Henry Pfluger Sr., whose family emigrated from Germany and settled
into the area in 1849. Town site of Pflugerville was platted in 1904. City is
located just north of Austin is one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas.
Many historic homes and structures can be found throughout the
city.
