  Texas State Travel Guide and TravelTex.com

  Communities interested in being listed in the Guide should have:

  A legitimate tourist attraction or museum open at specified hours. (It could be open only on a Saturday afternoon from 2-4 p.m., but visitors traveling through the area would know the exact time and location.) Attractions open by appointment only do not qualify.

  Please email the Texas Department of Transportation at TRV-LIT@dot.state.tx.us to discuss the possibility of being listed in the guide. Alternatively, you may write to Texas State Travel Guide, PO Box 141009, Austin, TX 78714-1009.

  Currently, TravelTex.com only provides links to Texas cities, state associations and state agencies. For additional information concerning TravelTex.com and how to link your city, association or agency, please call the Texas Tourism advertising department at 512-936-0101.
