This Army Corps of Engineers is an impoundment on the Brazos River. Many parks, marinas and camps offer boat ramps, fishing, swimming, and scuba diving. Lake Whitney State Park is on the eastern shore. A few miles west of Whitney. Also accessible from Meridian.
