Costumed cowboy train robbers stop the train and distribute their loot to child passengers on board. The Marshal is hot on their trail, though and deputizes all of the young passengers as he chases the bandits through the train. The event is child-friendly and the train robbers and marshal are happy to pose for pictures. The robbery takes approximately 10 minutes and is part of the trip from Grapevine to Fort Worth. The train continues on to its destination at the conclusion of the robbery. Cotton Belt Depot, 705 S. Main St.

This family-friendly festival offers a full lineup of activities such as the People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic (the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation), live entertainment on stages throughout the festival, a carnival midway, the Vintners' Auction Classic, the Texas Wine Tribute, the GrapeFest Tennis Classic, ItalianCarFest and the ever-popular GrapeStomp. Come celebrate the southern migration of the monarch butterflies. Guests can help release more than 600 butterflies during three releases throughout the event. This spooktacular event features three tastings and food samplings at each participating Grapevine winery tasting room, a large souvenir wine glass and a bottle of premium Grapevine wine. Costumes are encouraged. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
