In northern Hays County and southwest of Austin, it is the gateway to the Hill Country. This community was founded in 1847. With a past in farming and ranching, Dripping Springs is a growing suburban center that offers many family-friendly attractions, including Founders Park.
Event highlights include Christmas on Mercer shopping festival, the three-day Founders Day Festival in April, Dripping With Taste wine and food fest in September, and Dripping Springs Fair and Rodeo in October.
