The Hans and Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge along Oso Bay features a viewing tower for birding, especially flocks of herons and roseate spoonbills. Includes a boardwalk and a hike-and-bike trail. Access by Ocean Drive or take South Padre Island Drive, exit at Nile.
