This 1830s home was occupied by several great Texas pioneers. The wood-framed house is interpreted to the 1840s–60s when the Blackburn family lived there. The grounds include a blacksmith shop, smokehouse and historic gardens. Open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tue.–Sat. Allow 45 minutes for tours. Donations welcome. 304 North St. 936/560-4443 .
