Big Bend Country
Devils River's large size and remoteness support day hiking, primitive camping, mountain biking, horseback riding, and guided rock-art and bat-flight tours by appointment. It draws experienced kayakers, anglers and canoers. Advance preparation is a must. Overnight reservations can only be made through the state park center for limited primitive camping or rustic bunkhouse accommodations. Admission charge. 830/395-2133 . www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-parks/devils-river .
